An exciting report shows that clean energy has won out over fossil fuels in developing countries.  The data proves that – contrary to what wealthier countries might say – developing nations are the ones driving down clean energy costs and making them more competitive against fossil fuels. 

Meanwhile, a new international partnership has been established to help expand the deployment of energy storage and bring new technologies to developing countries’ power systems.  The Energy Storage Partnership (ESP) comprises the World Bank and 29 organisations working together to help develop energy storage solutions tailored to the needs of developing countries.
