Author and artist Richard Ellis sets out how and why mankind has and continues to voraciously harvest the world’s oceans of its sealife, explaining that as well as overfishing, we are also depriving marine life of its food sources and damaging its natural habitats due to the knock-on effect of largely removing specific animals from the food chain.  As well as big industry, the author doesn’t shy from pointing the finger of blame at the man on the street – because the industrial fish farms wouldn’t exist if we weren’t demanding cheap fish for our dinners.  The solution?  To massively reduce unsustainable fishing on a global scale – before it’s too late.
