Plantlife is a UK-based charity working to conserve wild flowers, plants and fungi, both nationally and internationally. The organisation owns around 4,500 acres of nature reserve in England, Scotland and Wales, and works with landowners, businesses, other conservation and community groups, as well as governments, to promote the protection of endangered plants.
Recent work includes involvement in the multi-organisation Back From the Brink project to save wild flowers, butterflies, birds and other species from extinction; a national campaign to restore damaged meadows and grasslands; and lobbying the UK government to support rewilding of the countryside.
