The Seabin Project is a not-for-profit organisation behind the Seabin, each of which collects floating rubbish – an estimated 1.4 tons annually – in the sea.  The machines are sold to clients – typically owners of marinas – who are responsible for disposing of the waste in an environmentally friendly way.  There are currently 860 Seabins in operation; they can be purchased directly, or via crowdfunding, and individuals can make donations to the charity.

It also runs educational programmes across the world.
