A group of more than 140 organisations – including the National Trust, Women’s Institute, Oxfam and RSPB – The Climate Coalition brings groups and individuals together to form a united voice on climate change. It credits its Show the Love campaign for the UK setting a legally binding net zero emissions target after its petition was signed by 750,000 people. The organisation partners with celebrities and companies to give its campaigns impact, and believes its support base of more than 19 million people means its lobbying will always make policy-makers take notice.
Recent work includes the Time Is Now march on Westminster, which led to 380 MPs meeting with their constituents to discuss what can be done to stop climate change.
