Trees for Cities is a UK-based charity that plants trees in city locations nationally and internationally to both improve local environments and increase the health and wellbeing of residents.  The work also revitalises neglected urban spaces and helps to promote growing food and healthier diets.

Since 1993 it has planted more than a million trees through its Urban Forests projects, school programmes and work abroad, including in places such as Kenya and Peru.  Recent activity includes the planting of 50 trees to restore tree-lined avenues in Seven Kings Park, London, and its Edible Playgrounds programme, which sees schools install fruit and vegetable plots in their outside areas.
