C40 Cities is a network of the world’s largest cities which are commited to addressing climate change.  It supports collaboration, knowledge sharing and the implementation of measurable and sustainable actions aimed at reducing cities’ negative impact on the environment, with 94 cities signed up to date via their mayors, who have pledged to adhere to targets set out in the Paris Agreement.

Founded in 2005, the network has grown under the premise that cities can pursue their own destiny in relation to sustainability beyond the constraints of their national governments, with city representatives supported via workshops, webinars and the dissemination of data and reports.
